Need specs for the utility monkeypatches

Reported by Matthew King | June 24th, 2008 @ 02:34 PM | in 0.7.7 - Briareus

also consider combining monkey patches into modules under Waves::Utilities so that we can have less top level constants in Rdoc.

String and Hash are complete, but they're in a private branch. Posting this so nobody will duplicate the work.

Put all monkeypatching in modules, except for Symbol#/.

Sequel defines Symbol#/ in a module, and we have to do a straight-up monkeypatch to get there first.

We may wish to look into just using

    "#{whatever}/#{dude}"

for file paths, as it seems that File and FileUtils handle that in a platform-specific way.
