Not sure why we have copies of this code instead of just using the gems.

I've added English integration back in. We can easily add other languages using the same framework simply by calling English::Inflect.clear.
Stick is for things like 15.megabytes, only I can't tell from the docs if that would even work. Might be a bit esoteric.
We should add some Date integration stuff though. There are some decent date libraries out there. So I've changed the ticket.
